All footprint data stays on your device, and every feature and analysis runs locally.

GoLog has no servers, no account system, and no centralized storage.

Data Processing

Whether it’s recording, replay, or stay analysis, all processing happens on your device.
Your travel data is never sent to any server, nor accessed by GoLog or any third party.

You always have full control of your data.

No Sign-up or Third-party Binding

GoLog requires no account registration.
We don’t bind to third-party services or share your data with other apps or platforms.

No social login, no third-party analytics SDKs, no external data APIs.

Personal and Sensitive Data

GoLog only uses location data to deliver its core features.
Apart from location, we do not read, collect, or process any other personal or sensitive data.

All location data is used solely to build your footprints and is stored on your device.

Location Data Usage

To record complete trips, GoLog needs continuous location access while you use the app.
Location may be used in foreground and background as required for normal operation.

All location data remains on your device; it is not uploaded to servers or accessed by GoLog.

iCloud Backup and Sync

GoLog supports optional backup and sync via Apple’s iCloud file system.
When iCloud is enabled, data stays in GoLog’s app-specific folder and is uploaded/synced by iCloud.

GoLog can only access this dedicated folder and will not read or touch anything else in your iCloud.
We cannot view, manage, or control these backups.

Sensitive Data Protection

Since GoLog has no servers, all sensitive data stays on your device or your personal iCloud space.
Recording, analysis, organization, and backup never send information to any server.

Data Management and Deletion

GoLog does not keep user data on any servers.
You can manage, export, or delete your data anytime via local storage or the iCloud file system.
You decide what stays and what is removed.
